More driving pleasure, performance and efficiency.
The new 911 is here. The new Carrera and Carrera S will use innovative turbo flat engines for the first time.
The 3-litre bi-turbocharged engines results in a 20 hp (15 kW) power increase, meaning the Carrera now packs 370 hp (272 kW). With a specific exhaust system, tuned engine management, and turbochargers with modified compressors, the Carrera S boasts even more power, with 420 hp (309 kW).
Experience the new 911 Carrera
The new 911 Carrera is the most powerful and fastest yet. Capable of a top speed of 183 mph and a 0-62 mph in just 4.2 seconds with fitted Porsche-Doppelkupplung (PDK) and Sport Chrono Package, the Carrera is two tenths of a second faster than its predecessor. The Carrera S with PDK and Sport Chrono Package accelerates from 0-62 mph in under 4 seconds for the first time in the Carrera series, (3.9 seconds) and reaches a top speed of 191 mph.
The new 911 has also set a new benchmark for driving pleasure. The new Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system offers an expanded range of functions and simplified operation. PCM now has an online navigation module, voice control function, and like a smartphone, can be operated by performing multi-touch gestures on the seven-inch display.
Enhanced power coupled with enhanced efficiency. Fuel consumption is reduced by up to a litre per 100 kilometres compared to its predecessor. The PDK transmission now consumes just 7.4 litres of fuel per 100 kilometres (a reduction of 0.8 l per 100 km), while the 911 Carrera S with PDK consumes 7.7 l/100 km (1.0 l less per 100 km).
The new 911 will officially launch in December, until then, discover more here .

*Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. You can find more information on WLTP at www.porsche.com/wltp . For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
