On Thursday 13 September, Porsche Centre Guildford sponsored the annual Surrey Life Food and Drink Awards for the third consecutive year.
The Surrey Life Food and Drink Awards has become one of the region’s most prestigious ceremonies and one of the top culinary events in the Surrey calendar. The awards ceremony celebrates and honours restaurants, pubs, hoteliers and chefs from all over the Surrey region who have achieved outstanding quality and success in the food and drink industry.
The glittering ceremony was hosted at G Live Guildford this year. As sponsors, the Porsche Centre Guildford team were in attendance. We were delighted to once again sponsor the ‘Newcomer of the Year’ award, a tough category with runners up including the Distillers of Surrey and Miss Polly Café. Salt Box, a local pop-up catering events company, were the well-deserved winners of the night.
Adam Flint, Centre Principal of Porsche Centre Guildford, said “We were delighted to support the awards ceremony once again, this year sponsoring the award for the best newcomer. Congratulations the Salt Box on the well-deserved win!”

*Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. You can find more information on WLTP at www.porsche.com/wltp . For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
