On Thursday 21 March 2019, Porsche Centre Guildford was delighted to welcome over 450 guests to our 911 (992) preview event.
The new 911, available in two coupé derivatives, the 911 Carrera S and 911 Carrera 4S, were presented by our Centre Principal Adam Flint and the General Manager, Marketing at Porsche Cars Great Britain, Margareta Mahlstedt.
With an ultra-modern design - instantly recognisable as a 911 - this latest incarnation, now in its eighth generation, continues to be the perfect everyday sports car. The new 911’s horizontally opposed engine is both more powerful and more efficient than ever. The enhanced 3.0-litre, flat-six turbocharged engine unit now delivers 450 PS, and with the optional Sport Chrono Package and Launch Control, it sprints from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds.
Guests enjoyed a live music performance with drinks and canapés served throughout the night. With three stunning examples of the new 911 on display, guests also had the opportunity to explore the full model range including the Panamera, Macan, Cayenne and 718.
Visit our Facebook page for more photos from the preview event.
If you were unable to join us on the night, we would be delighted to offer you the chance to experience the new 911 for yourself. Please call us on 01483 494 084 or email info@porscheguildford.co.uk to book a demonstration drive.

For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
