Introducing our March feature car

At Porsche Centre Guildford, we have the privilege of seeing a wide range of Porsche cars with uniquely customised specifications arriving at our Centre. One such example is this Porsche Approved Pre-Owned 911 Carrera 4 GTS finished in GT Silver Metallic. First registered in December 2017, this example is all-wheel drive and has just 3,495 miles.

As you may expect with a GTS, this model comes with a high proportion of Alcantara®, which can be found on all seats, steering wheel rim, centre console and armrests. With the Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) and Launch Control activated, the 911 Carrera 4 GTS sprints from 0 to 62 mph in only 3.6 seconds. Top speed is 191 mph.

The GTS models stand out within the 911 model line not only in terms of technology but also in their visual design. All the vehicles are based on the wide all-wheel-drive chassis, which measures 1,852 mm, even on the rear-wheel-drive models. The front end is aerodynamically optimised. A low front spoiler and increased rear spoiler extension height further reduce the lift forces on the front and rear axle, compared to the Carrera S models. On the rear, the GTS is unmistakable: smoked tail lights, silk-gloss Black air intake grille and central Black twin tailpipes of the sports exhaust system, which is included as standard.

GTS genes also shape the interior. The stopwatch of the Sport Chrono Package is integrated as a central component of the dashboard. The Sports seats Plus, with GTS logos on the headrests, can be adjusted in four ways electronically and provide increased lateral support and comfort. Other features include brushed, Black anodised aluminium trim strips on the instrument cluster.

Upon release, the 911 GTS models were met with rave reviews. According to Top Gear, “History says the very best everyday 911 has a GTS badge on the back’ and the 911 GTS models don’t disappoint. Combining contradictory values such as sportiness and suitability for everyday use, the five variants to the 911 range deliver truly impressive power and a unique, elegant design.”
